Just last week, we unveiled our all-new CEL-FI QUATRA Networked Smart Booster at CTIA. Clearly it was well received news as our team onsite couldn’t keep up with all the queries!

While there are detailed specs available for CEL-FI QUATRA, I wanted to take this opportunity to point out some of the features that put it ahead of other mid-market enterprise indoor coverage solutions.

There are of course the basics that you’ve come to expect with CEL-FI technology: quick and easy installation, multi-band support, 100 db of gain, FCC certification, automatic system configuration, and of course outstanding performance, to name a few.

So what makes the CEL-FI QUATRA Networked Smart Booster different?

First, CEL-FI QUATRA builds on our highly successful, market-leading CEL-FI Smart Signal Booster® technology. But this time, we’ve applied the core technology to larger business applications so that we can improve cellular coverage in spaces up to 50,000 sq. ft. per system, scalable to four systems up to 200,000 sq. ft.

CEL-FI QUATRA can also be installed by the user and requires only basic IT LAN cabling skills and standard category cable to connect the network unit and coverage units. It also uses Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), the benefits of which cannot be understated. For example, with PoE, there are no additional labor costs since an electrician is not needed to install power outlets; plus, optimal placement of the system is not bound by electrical outlets. Software updates, device management, and engineering application support is also delivered through the CEL-FI WAVE mobile and desktop applications.

CEL-FI QUATRA can be used off-air using a macro donor signal from a wireless service provider. For high-density applications however, up to four CEL-FI QUATRA systems can be tethered to a small cell (this configuration is called a Boosted Supercell) to increase the coverage footprint, and at the same time uniformly extend capacity throughout the building to service more concurrent users.

Unlike typical DAS systems that can require between 6 and 12 months for deployment from start to finish, CEL-FI QUATRA can be ordered, delivered, installed, and operational in a matter of weeks—and at a lower installed cost per sq. ft.

Of course there’s much more to CEL-FI QUATRA. So I encourage you to take a look at our latest white paper that provides detailed information on how CEL-FI QUATRA works, along with insights on installation options.

If you have any questions about CEL-FI QUATRA pricing and availability – or authorized distributors in your area – we’re always happy to help.
