Vice President Sales, Americas

The Vice President of Americas Sales is responsible for driving Nextivity’s revenue growth and market expansion across North and South America. Leading a dynamic team of 12 direct sellers and 80 rep firm sellers, this role focuses on optimizing complex sales strategies within a two-tier channel model that includes Distributors and Integrators. The Vice President will play a critical role in meeting revenue targets, developing sales talent, and building strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Digital Marketing Content and Communications Manager
San Diego, CA | Full Time | $85,000-100,000 Annually

The Digital Marketing Content and Communications Manager influences and implements our verbal messaging strategy and maintains the brand voice across external and partner marketing efforts and communications. Deliverables generally fall into one of four categories – thought leadership, lead generation, education, or partner communications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in copywriting and can deliver the appropriate messaging and storytelling for a wide range of channels and creative execution formats. In addition to maintaining product collateral, the Content Manager will drive social media engagement, digital campaigns – including email marketing, support PR and SEO efforts, help plan and execute online and in-person events. The Content Manager will need to be or become proficient in company’s CRM, marketing automation, and project management software, and website platform as well as other related systems (e.g., the Nextivity Partner Portal, social media platforms, etc.). This is very a busy team where each member wears multiple hats.

Senior Product (Sales) Engineer

(Nextivity, Inc; San Diego, California): Utilize engineering background to manage the entire product line lifecycle, from planning to tactical activities, including approving all engineering change orders that impact the product, specifically for wireless telecommunication products like cellular wireless ecosystems including Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), all of which are entirely designed in-house to maintain end-to-end control. Understand competitive trends, pricing strategies, product positioning and competitive pressures to address evolving specific customer requirements and identify potential customers. Collaborate with the Commercial team to promote the sale of designated products, responsible for creating technical documentation including product-specific data, such as specification sheets and solution white papers. Specify market requirements for current and future products supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers, delivering technical presentations for the development and implementation of new products. Analyze customer feedback and evaluate data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers. Establish the product development scope to meet customers’ projects, consulting with customers to deliver both business model and technically achievable solutions and developing customer-specific products to meet their technical requirements and needs. Collaborate with the designated Product Specialist to drive a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Commercial) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning. Develop sales initiatives to penetrate and establish a presence in new segments with products and ensure product positioning is understood by internal stakeholders. Work with engineering to define product release requirements. Work with the Commercial team to define the Sales acceleration strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. Serve as the internal and external evangelist for designated product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers. Join sales calls as the product expert to both support the sales effort and gain insight on opportunities for product improvement. Develop sales tools and collateral to support sales efforts. Represent the company in various media, positioned as product expert.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunication Engineering, Wireless Networking Engineering or related field, plus four (4) years of experience in a product management occupation in cellular wireless ecosystems including Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS).

Must have (skills):

Must have experience with the following:

  • Two (2) years of experience working with customers and understanding wireless product requirements;
  • Two (2) years of experience working with a technical team to define product requirements;
  • Three (3) years of experience developing a product vision and strategy which articulates the business and technical value of a new feature or product release to relevant stakeholders;
  • Three (3) years of experience collecting, curating, and promoting the most relevant internal and external product ideas into features;
  • Three (3) years of experience in creating a new product release, managing features and dependencies in and across releases, and managing development with phases and milestones; and
  • Demonstrated knowledge analyzing market data.

Experience may be gained in paid and unpaid positions including while pursuing academic studies.

Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or work experience.
