CEL-FI QUATRA RED Wins 2021 BIG Innovation Award

Award acknowledges the advanced in-building technology built into the first all-in-one ERCES Public Safety Solution

Nextivity announced today that CEL-FI QUATRA RED has been named a winner in the 2021 BIG Innovation Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group. QUATRA RED is the first all-in-one Emergency Responder Communications Enhancement System (ERCES) to deliver in-building coverage to Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and FirstNet-ready devices.

When reliable communication is essential in critical circumstances, public safety communication is a matter of life or death. CEL-FI QUATRA RED features Nextivity’s most advanced in-building technology built into an ERCES Public Safety Solution. It is designed to provide consistent coverage in the most challenging building structures in full compliance with the most current fire codes. QUATRA RED was built with the needs of First Responders, Building Owners, Installers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) in mind.

“We have been developing and delivering wireless communication solutions globally for more than 10 years. CEL-FI QUATRA RED features the same architecture that inspired the widespread, global adoption of our award-winning technology by carriers, integrators, building owners, and public safety officials,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “QUATRA RED brings the unique CEL-FI QUATRA value proposition to public safety, including best performance, easiest install, and built-in smarts. It is built from the ground up to be modular to resolve the biggest challenges in the public safety ERRCS market and provide a future-proof solution that meets the needs of First Responders as public safety communications continue to evolve.”

Organizations from across the globe submitted their recent innovations for consideration in the BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions.

“More than ever, the global society relies on innovation to help progress humanity and make our lives more productive, healthy, and comfortable,” said Maria Jimenez, chief operating officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “We are thrilled to be honoring Nextivity as they are one of the organizations leading this charge and helping humanity progress.”

The Business Intelligence Group was founded with the mission of recognizing true talent and superior performance in the business world. Unlike other industry award programs, these programs are judged by business executives having experience and knowledge. The organization’s proprietary and unique scoring system selectively measures performance across multiple business domains and then rewards those companies whose achievements stand above those of their peers.
