Nextivity Inc. today announced the availability of CEL-FI PRO EXA for the Americas, which includes an external antenna connector for its award-winning CEL-FI PRO Smart Signal Booster. With the addition of an external high-gain antenna, subscribers can now use their CEL-FI PRO systems in buildings where there is no cellular signal inside, such as LEED-certified construction and reinforced basements or warehouses with no windows. CEL-FI PRO EXA is currently shipping in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, and is now also available in the Americas through one of Nextivity’s distribution partners.
CEL-FI PRO boosts the macro signal from nearby cellular towers to provide markedly improved in-building cellular voice and data service coverage for 3G/4G/LTE in spaces up to 15,000 sq. ft. When this off-air donor signal is insufficient indoors, customers can now use CEL-FI PRO EXA to connect the CEL-FI Wideband Directional Antenna to the CEL-FI PRO Network Unit, allowing it to pick up signal from a nearby cellular tower. Coupled with the CEL-FI WAVE application, users can accurately aim the external donor antenna to maximize incoming signal quality and achieve up to 100db of gain—the highest in the industry.
CEL-FI Product Line Continues to Grow
“CEL-FI PRO has been well-accepted in the worldwide market, but there are certain circumstances that require an external boost. CEL-FI PRO EXA provides the means to strengthen the off-air donor signal so that users can get the most out of their CEL-FI PRO systems,” said Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “It demonstrates Nextivity’s unwavering, long-term commitment to expanding our product line and addressing additional markets.”
