High Power User Equipment (HPUE) is a specialized class of cellular device with up to 6x the uplink power of standard devices. Nextivity SHIELD MegaFi 2 and MegaGo 2 HPUE routers maintain a reliable cellular connection to the macro network and use the signal to create a Wi-Fi hot spot anyone can use.
Uplink power on standard devices is not as strong as the power of the signal coming from the tower, making it difficult to send communication when towers are far away.
