The 7th Award this Summer, CEL-FI GO Honored for Exceptional Innovation
Nextivity Inc. announced today that CEL-FI GO has received a 2019 IoT Evolution Product of the Year Award from IoT Evolution World.
CEL-FI GO is an indoor/outdoor cellular coverage solution that supports both mobile and stationary applications. Among CEL-FI GO’s many use cases, it has been deployed by customers to power cellular connectivity for smart meters and other sensor-based IoT applications in areas not optimized for coverage, such as metal buildings, underground structures, and rural or remote locations; as well as in-building – where old cement or brick inhibitors, or newer LEED certification materials reinforced by metal – block wireless signals.
“Cellular has emerged as a major communication technology for IoT,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “CEL-FI GO provides consistent, reliable, and effective cellular coverage for both fixed and mobile IoT use cases across multiple industry verticals.”
Designed to operate in challenging outdoor conditions, CEL-FI GO is NEMA 4 rated and offers best-in-class gain and advanced echo-cancellation techniques to overcome challenges associated with cellular signal interference. CEL-FI GO is ideal for use in commercial properties, multi-use buildings, agricultural settings, manufacturing operations, parking structures, and remote installations, and provides coverage for spaces up to 15,000 sq. ft. per system.
“The solutions selected for the IoT Evolution Product of Year Award reflect the diverse range of innovation driving the multi-billion dollar IoT market today. It is my honor to congratulate Nextivity for their innovative work and superior contribution to the rapidly evolving IoT industry,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC, a co-publisher of IoT Evolution.
“It is my pleasure to recognize CEL-FI GO, an innovative solution that earned Nextivity the 2019 IoT Evolution Product of the Year Award,” said Ken Briodagh, Editorial Director for IoT Evolution World. “I look forward to seeing even more innovation from Nextivity in the future.”
