Nextivity announced from Mobile World Congress Los Angeles that it has been named the Telecommunications Company of the Year in the 2021 Mobile Breakthrough Awards, an annual awards program that recognizes the top companies, products, innovation, and people in the mobile and wireless industries around the globe. These awards are run by Tech Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that specializes in researching the most competitive areas of technology around the world. Nextivity brings technology leadership to Public Safety
To ensure reliable in-building communication in life-or-death situations, Nextivity brought its industry-leading technology to the Public Safety market with CEL-FI QUATRA RED, the first all-in-one ERCES (Emergency Responder Communication and Enhancement System) to deliver in-building coverage to LMR (Land Mobile Radio) systems and FirstNet-ready devices. QUATRA RED enables uninterrupted communications and meets diverse industry standards and jurisdictional requirements.
CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN, the only carrier-grade enterprise In-Building Wireless solution for FirstNet on the market, further expanded Nextivity’s presence in Public Safety. QUATRA 1000 FN gives FirstNet users priority access to the network, ensuring emergency responder communications do not have to compete for available bandwidth during a crisis.
Enabling partner success and creating coverage opportunities
CEL-FI QUATRA Fiber Solutions created new opportunities for partners by enabling them to bring reliable cellular coverage into large buildings and remote locations where it was once considered impossible to have cost-effective coverage – including skyscrapers and remote mining sites.
At Mobile World Congress earlier this year, Nextivity announced the CEL-FI GO G41 Smart Signal Booster, the first carrier-class 3G/4G/5G cellular coverage solution to boost TDD-LTE for business and residential applications. It also offers multi-band support and provides a flexible solution to Nextivity’s installation partners in EMEA, Asia, and Oceania.

The past year also saw diverse applications of CEL-FI solutions — from enabling humanitarian assistance and monitoring the temperature of COVID-19 vaccines to powering a Smart Booster on Wheels for clients in agriculture, housing development, and mining who require instant cellular connectivity at remote and/or emergency sites. In addition to providing cellular connectivity for electric vehicle charging stations in underground parking garages for retail and residential properties, CEL-FI delivered industry-leading enterprise solutions for healthcare environments, including hospitals and nursing homes. Distributors and manufacturers also turned to CEL-FI to grow their IoT capabilities, while hotels leveraged CEL-FI’s cellular systems to usher in new technology and improve the guest experience.
