Nextivity announced today that its innovative Active DAS Hybrid solution has won two prestigious Stevie® awards in the Telecommunications product category at the 16th Annual American Business Awards. The company received a Gold Stevie Award and a People’s Choice Stevie Award for its CEL-FI QUATRA all-digital, enterprise in-building cellular solution, which provides uniform, high quality cellular coverage for the middleprise (spaces up to 500,000 sq. ft.).
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the Gold Stevie Award honors the best product or service in each category, as selected by the 200-plus global professionals who participated in the judging process. The People’s Choice Stevie Awards recognize favorite new products and services, as voted by the general public.
“It’s an incredible honor to see our technology win both the Gold and People’s Choice Stevie Awards,” said Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “Before the introduction of CEL-FI QUATRA, the telecom industry struggled to meaningfully address the indoor cellular service needs of the middleprise market. Available consumer-grade solutions were too limited in performance, while active DAS was too complex and costly. CEL-FI QUATRA bridges this gap by combining the best of active DAS and the proven CEL-FI technology widely adopted by carriers around the world for applications in larger venues.”
CEL-FI QUATRA improves indoor cellular performance in venues up to 500,000 sq. ft., eliminating black holes, dropped calls, and poor voice quality. Designed for off-air or small cell applications, the solution’s winning features include intelligent self-configuration, continual self-optimization to adapt to environmental changes, and 1,000x higher gain than other solutions. The CEL-FI QUATRA also offers the lowest total cost of ownership for middleprise customers, the ability to add future capacity without re-engineering, and remote monitoring and management using the CEL-FI WAVE Platform.
“The nominations submitted for the 2018 American Business Awards were outstanding. The competition was intense, and those recognized as Stevie Award winners should be immensely proud of this accomplishment,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
