Nextivity Receives 2015 Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Award

CEL-FI DUO smart signal booster recognized for innovation in extending 4G/LTE cellular network experience indoors for T-Mobile customers.

SAN DIEGO – May 14, 2015 – Nextivity Inc. announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named CEL-FI DUO as a 2015 Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Award winner. The awards are presented by TMC’s Mobility Tech Zone.

“We are thrilled with the growing mainstream awareness and acceptance of our FCC-approved smart signal booster for indoor usage by leading entities such as TMC,” said Werner Sievers, president and CEO of Nextivity Inc. “Whether you’re a home owner or a business with hundreds of employees, CEL-FI has proven to be a viable and cost-effective option for addressing indoor coverage challenges and ensuring consistently strong and reliable cellular signals in places where dead zones are commonplace.”

Offering quality cellular coverage indoors

Announced in September 2014, with T-Mobile as the first wireless provider in the world to offer it, the CEL-FI DUO is a smart signal booster designed for use on 3G, 4G LTE (including VoLTE) and UMTS networks. It offers dual-band support for up to 35MHz of boosted bandwidth, provides 10 times the gain of earlier versions, and uses patented echo-cancellation algorithms for stronger signals in the coverage area.

Unlike other signal boosters in the market, CEL-FI DUO is plug-and-play. It requires no cabling, no external antennas, and no configuration from the user. Once plugged in, it can be set up quickly and easily to deliver up to five bars of 3G or 4G/LTE coverage in just minutes.

“Recognizing leaders in mobile technologies, TMC is proud to announce Nextivity as a recipient of the 2015 Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “CEL-FI DUO has demonstrated innovation and will help shape the face of the quickly evolving industry. It is our pleasure to honor Nextivity for its inspiring work.”

The Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Award honors the development of technologies geared toward the evolution of a 4G, all IP, wireless network, including products, services, architecture and infrastructure, delivery, and applications.

Winners of the 2015 Mobility Tech Zone Product of the Year Award are published in the Mobility Tech Zone e-newsletter and on the Mobility Tech Zone website.
