Active DAS hybrid recognized for its innovative approach to solving in-building cellular coverage across all four major carrier networks

SAN DIEGO – Nextivity announced that CEL-FI QUATRA 4000, its all-digital, multi-carrier active DAS hybrid, was named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Telecommunications Products category in the 18th Annual American Business Awards®.

Launched in the fall of 2019, CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 is designed and approved for use on all four major U.S. carrier networks to address the issue of poor cellular coverage in middleprise buildings. This carrier-grade solution is guaranteed network safe and delivers a cellular signal that is up to a 1000x stronger, using category cabling for RF and Power over Ethernet. It is the only product in its class on the market today that supports up to 100dB of gain and is also the first integrated product to relay TDD (Time Division Duplex) LTE bands.

“CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 is the first solution in our lineup of enterprise-class in-building cellular coverage solutions to provide seamless multi-carrier coverage from a single system,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see it being recognized for its innovative approach to ensuring that subscribers across all networks – not only the carrier with the strongest signal – can enjoy consistent, uninterrupted indoor coverage.”

Similar to previous versions, CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 can be ordered, delivered, installed, and operational in a matter of weeks, at a lower installed cost per square foot compared to more expensive DAS systems that typically require between 12 and 24 months for deployment from start to finish.

The American Business Awards are the premier business awards program in the U.S. All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Over 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be virtually presented to winners during a live event on Wednesday, August 5.

“Despite the toughest business conditions in memory, American organizations continue to demonstrate their commitment to innovation, creativity, and bottom-line results,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher. “This year’s Stevie-winning nominations are full of inspiring stories of persistence, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and compassion. We celebrate all of their stories and look forward to showcasing them during our virtual awards ceremony on August 5.”
