Nextivity Public Safety DAS have the unique ability to provide the infrastructure for an IoT sensor network. Through the proprietary technology built into our SMART SERVER ANTENNAS, our system easily performs double duty as a sensor network. Using the intelligence we built in to remotely monitor the  ERCES end-to-end, Nextivity customers are able to leverage their Public Safety DAS infrastructure to improve safety and operations.  The systems support BLE IoT sensors and can be used to for Smart Building applications such as:

The DAS serves as the sensor network, feeding / notifying existing building control and/or emergency management applications.

LMR + FirstNet + Cellular Coverage

Nextivity is uniquely positioned to offer the industry’s best comprehensive in-building coverage solutions for routine, mission critical, and emergency response communications. Our Public Safety solutions already come with FirstNet service built in, but Nextivity technology allows full neutral host public cellular service to added without interference.

  • Comprehensive coverage support for Public Safety requires LMR, FirstNet and Cellular coverage.
    LMR coverage may be mixed with cellular coverage using Nextivity solutions due to advanced analog and digital filtering included in both systems.
  • FirstNet service offered on all AT&T frequencies, including 700MHz, 850MHz, 1900MHz and AWS. FirstNet coverage can be achieved using off-air Nextivity systems removing the need for Part 90 retransmission agreements.
  • Cellular coverage for all operators available off-air, allowing building owners to cellular meet mandates, as required, without an undue burden.
