Nextivity features new CEL-FI GO Portable Kits at APCO 2019

New solution developed in collaboration with partners improves cellular communications in remote locations and for emergency response

Nextivity today introduced new CEL-FI GO Portable Kits developed in collaboration with two channel partners, Digital Highway and 4K Solutions. The CEL-FI Certified partners are adding the new portable cellular connectivity solutions for public safety responders to their lineup of CEL-FI products offered. The CEL-FI GO Portable Kits and complete CEL-FI product line will be showcased at APCO 2019, taking place from August 11 – 14 in Baltimore, MD, in Booth #1140.

The new CEL-FI GO Portable Kits, which can easily be transported in a vehicle, can be used with the award winning CEL-FI GO+ Smart Signal Booster for all major carriers in the USA and Canada, or for crisis response with the CEL-FI GO RED FirstNet Booster. The solution is housed in a portable, rugged case with antennas, battery backup, power adaptors, and optional tripods to rapidly and easily amplify cellular signal in an emergency wherever and whenever needed. In minutes, a public safety professional can set up a CEL-FI GO Portable Kit to improve vital cellular communications in an accident or emergency scene.

“Now any emergency responder can carry a portable cellular booster into emergency situations and establish vital communications within minutes, without the need for Cell on Wheels (COWS), which is often too expensive for regional police or fire department budgets,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity, Inc. “In situations where poor cellular communication could cost lives or property damage, the CEL-FI GO Portable Kit is simple and fast to set up so public safety personnel can get on with their jobs.”

CEL-FI GO is approved for use on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, GTCI Alaska, Rogers, TELUS, Bell Mobility, SaskTel, Freedom Mobile, Videotron, and Eastlink. The CEL-FI GO RED variant is designed for use on the FirstNet network. Both are network safe solutions that can work alongside legacy public safety equipment and FirstNet without any network interference. The solutions are also NEMA 4 rated weather resistant to withstand harsh conditions, including dust and water exposure.

CEL-FI GO Portable Kits are configured for industry-leading 65 dB gain in mobile mode, delivering the best voice/data wireless performance; and in stationary mode, delivers 100 dB gain – which is up 1,000x greater than other solutions on the market. The kits feature the only carrier-class solution that can switch between two modes for mobile cellular coverage or for indoor/outdoor stationary installation.

The CEL-FI GO Portable Kits are available now from DH Wireless Solutions and 4K Solutions. For more information, contact a CEL-FI sales team member. Partners can learn more about the future roadmap of CEL-FI public safety products by appointment.
