Here’s a recent item from Business Insider that’s worth a look if you’re interested in speeding up the charge time for your iPhone. It’s all pretty simple stuff: an iPhone will charge faster if you turn the phone setting to airplane mode, remove the case, use an iPad charger rather than the iPhone adapter, and turn off the phone.
If you’re an Android user, AndroidPIT has posted its own article on the same topic that pretty much mirrors the abovementioned Business Insider video, with additional suggestions. These include turning off unnecessary features like Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, etc.; using a USB 3 versus a USB 2.0 port; and not using wireless charging.
But what about saving battery life in the first place? We’ve all been in situations where it seems our smartphone batteries are draining faster than normal. And there are many reasons for that.
