Nextivity Partners with Hutton Communications to Distribute Cel-Fi GO and Cel-Fi QUATRA

Press Releases

Nextivity Inc. has partnered with Hutton Communications to distribute its Cel-Fi family of products. Specifically, Nextivity’s Cel-Fi QUATRA in-building enterprise cellular system and Cel-Fi GO Smart Signal Booster will now be available to Hutton’s network of in-building wireless integrators in the healthcare, education, utilities, mixed use, and government municipality markets.

“Cel-Fi by Nextivity has earned an excellent reputation for quality, performance, and overall value in the in-building wireless space,” says Les Ward, CEO, Hutton. “Cel-Fi GO and Cel-Fi QUATRA augment our portfolio of offerings quite nicely, and enable us to continue providing our customers with the most innovative solutions available on the market.”

Hutton is the latest company to join Nextivity’s channel partner program, and will work alongside Nextivity’s master distributor, GetWireless. Nextivity has continued to grow their strategic partnerships, and Hutton’s network of integrators and installers are a great addition of solution providers. Hutton has already begun shipping the Cel-Fi product to partners that need to solve cellular coverage problems at their customers facilities.

Cel-Fi QUATRA reduces cost and complexity for the middleprise
Cel-Fi QUATRA addresses the growing concerns for affordable and flexible indoor cellular coverage solutions for the middleprise, defined as spaces from 10,000 to 500,000 sq. ft. It combines the best of active DAS and proven Cel-Fi technology that has been widely adopted by carriers around the world for applications within larger venues. It is scalable and can be used in single or multi-carrier environments and can be operational within days, unlike typical DAS solutions that can take up to a year to deploy. Cel-Fi QUATRA is an all-digital solution that leverages Cat5e RFoE and PoE to deliver the signal from the Network Units to the Coverage Units.

“The middleprise has long been ignored by companies offering traditional DAS solutions, and residential products simply can’t provide the robustness required by businesses,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “Cel-Fi QUATRA fills this gap nicely, and we are confident that Hutton’s extensive network of integrators and installers will recognize the tremendous value that QUATRA has to offer.”

Cel-Fi GO for mobile and stationary coverage
Cel-Fi GO is available in a mobile or stationary version for 3G / 4G / LTE networks. Both versions are NEMA 4 rated weather resistant, unconditionally network safe, and will not interfere with other wireless devices. Cel-Fi GO can also be configured to support multiple carriers.

“While everyone expects constant connectivity, there are many things that can stand in the way of a consistent cellular signal, from the elements and building structures to inconsistent signal strength when on the move,” says Sievers. “Cel-Fi GO makes constant connectivity a reality for those traveling in a vehicle or working in an industrial environment in a remote location with very limited cellular signal.”

Cel-Fi GO M addresses cellular coverage needs in mobile environments for nomadic applications. It is ideal for trucks, vehicles, RVs, and boats, ensuring performance in harsh terrain, poor weather, or generally challenging outdoor environments where wireless products need to be dust tight or protected against wind, strong water jets, and waves. Cel-Fi GO M delivers the highest mobile system gain (70dB) in the industry.

Cel-Fi GO X is the first carrier-class indoor / outdoor cellular coverage solution to feature industry-leading 100 dB system gain, which is 1000x the signal strength of other signal boosters on the market. Cel-Fi GO X can be placed indoors or outdoors and is ideal for any location where cellular service is poor, including buildings with no windows, cement walls, or which are LEED compliant. It delivers the industry’s largest coverage footprint with the best voice and data wireless performance. The Cel-Fi GO X antenna can be positioned inside or outside the building, depending on the use case and best available signal strength. It is ideal for use in commercial properties, government buildings, agricultural settings, small manufacturing operations, rural areas, businesses, and large homes.
