With the expected growth in holiday sales and the increased use of mobile for everything from comparison shopping and digital entertainment to payments, new research from Deloitte shows that retailers with the best mobile smartphone strategies stand to benefit the most.

According to Deloitte, more than 90% of retail sales occur in-store versus digital channels alone. That being said, digital interactions this holiday season will influence 64 cents of every dollar spent in stores to the tune of $434 billion. Last year 50% of store transactions were a result of a brand’s digital influence.

With the holiday season fast approaching, retailers clearly should be looking at their digital efforts in influencing buying decisions. As part of that they might want to take a little extra time to consider the digital experience when customers are actually in their stores. That includes making sure that they have ubiquitous, rock-solid indoor cellular coverage so any pricing/inventory queries, or transactions don’t get interrupted during such a busy time of year.

CEL-FI is no stranger to helping out retailers get their indoor coverage in top form. If you have any questions, we’ll be happy to fill you in on what you can do to enhance the mobile experience for eager customers.

Will your indoor coverage stand the test of the holiday sales rush?
