Nextivity Shares Lessons in Entrepreneurship with Hansen Summer Institute Students

We’ve just wrapped up a visit from the Hansen Summer Institute and happy to report that it was a great day all around.

For many years, Nextivity has been involved with this unique leadership program that brings together students from many countries. This is the second year Nextivity has hosted Hansen at our offices and has been an active contributor to the curriculum.

Throughout their three weeks in the U.S., students take part in workshops focused on conflict resolution, mediation, and inter-cultural management – along with some site visits and socializing opportunities along the way.

We were absolutely delighted to once again play host for a day at our own facilities in San Diego. This year’s guests included 16 international students from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, UK and South America, along with six U.S. students and Hansen staff members.

Our team was at the ready to showcase our CEL-FI product innovation and provide valuable advice on entrepreneurship and leadership. Sessions ranged from the role of innovation in startups and keys to entrepreneurial success, to practical advice on business plans, customer service and sales.

The day ended with a tour of the facilities and discussions with key team members. Then it was time for a well-deserved  Pinkberry frozen yogurt social and a chance for the Hansen guests to interact with the Nextivity team.

I extend my thanks and tremendous appreciation to everyone who participated in the day’s event. Special mention to our presenters: David Ramsland, Joe Welton, George Lamb, Tom Cooper and Michiel Lotter for a job well done indeed.

Stay tuned for more on what our visitors had to say about their day.

What do you think is the best advice we can give to a young entrepreneur?
