While CEL-FI GO may be new, there is no shortage of projects that showcase just how versatile this cellular coverage solution can be.
Here’s one scenario being considered by an agricultural and industrial operation in South America. The company operates a number of palm oil production facilities equipped with BTS (base transceiver stations) for their cellular coverage. However, the BTS units only cover a 3.5 km (2.17 miles) radius.
Most production facilities have a number of remote camps outside of the BTS coverage zone – some are as far as 20 km (12.42 miles) away from the central location. The company came to our reseller to find a solution that could enhance cellular coverage over a 20 to 30-meter area (22 to 33 yards) at the camps, as well as in 50 to 100 of their vehicles.
The reseller came up with a simple fix: CEL-FI GO Stationary (known as CEL-FI GO X in other markets) for the camps (in this case to be powered by solar panels and a yagi antenna installed on existing masts); and CEL-FI GO Mobile (known as CEL-FI GO M in other markets) for the vehicles. Problem solved!
